This device operates on a wide range of input voltage and is capable of providing 2A of continuous output current with excellent line and load regulation. The device has multiple modes available. The synchronous mode operation ensures higher efficiency rates. Current mode operation provides loop stabilization and fast transient response. The device also includes standard protection features such as over-current protection, thermal protection, and soft start control. The IC requires minimum number of external components and comes in a compact 8-pin TSOT-23 package.
